You give Atlas the places your business already lives — your website, the mailbox you choose (Gmail or Microsoft, read-only), your files — and Atlas reads them, writes what it learned into a knowledge base you own, and does bounded work from it: answering the questions customers keep asking, keeping your hours and listings current, and telling you what it does not yet know.
With Gmail, Atlas only reads the messages in the mailbox you connect, to keep your knowledge base current. It never sends, deletes, or changes mail, never uses your mail for advertising, and you can disconnect it at any time from inside Atlas or from your Google Account.
